Best Paper Award

To recognize outstanding research contributions and encourage excellence in scientific communication, SACET 2027 will present Best Paper Awards to exceptional papers demonstrating originality, technical excellence, innovation, and potential impact. The awards will be selected through a transparent and merit-based evaluation process.

§01

Eligibility

  • The paper must be original, unpublished, and accepted through the conference's double-blind peer-review process.
  • At least one registered author must present the paper during the conference.
  • Only papers included in the official technical programme will be considered.
  • Papers submitted by researchers from academia, research institutions, and industry are eligible.
  • For the Best Student Paper Award (if applicable), the first author must be a registered student, and the student should present the paper.

Evaluation Criteria

Eligible papers will be evaluated using the following criteria:

  • Originality, Novelty, and Technical Contribution - 30%
  • Relevance to the Conference Themes - 20%
  • Research Methodology and Experimental Validation - 20%
  • Quality of Presentation and Technical Discussion - 15%
  • Potential Impact and Practical Applications - 15%
§03

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in two stages:

  • Technical Evaluation: Papers will first be shortlisted based on their peer-review scores and recommendations from the reviewers.
  • Presentation Evaluation: During the conference, Session Chairs and Award Evaluation Committee members will assess the presentation quality, technical content, clarity of communication, responses to audience questions, and overall contribution.

Note

The final award recipients will be selected by the Best Paper Award Committee, in consultation with the Conference Chair, based on the combined evaluation of the peer-review outcomes and presentation performance. The decision of the Award Committee shall be final.

Awards and Recognition

The winners will be announced during the Valedictory Ceremony of SACET 2027.

Each award recipient will receive:

  • Best Paper Award Certificate
  • Recognition on the Official Conference Website
  • Recognition during the Valedictory Ceremony
