Guidelines & Template
All submissions must strictly adhere to the prescribed conference template and comply with the specified page limits. Manuscripts should be prepared in a clear and consistent format, including appropriate structuring of sections, figures, tables, and references. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their papers meet all formatting and style requirements at the time of submission. The same template must be used for both the initial submission and the final (camera-ready) version. Papers that do not conform to the guidelines may be returned for revision or rejected without review.
Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts must be prepared in clear, professional English and thoroughly checked for grammatical accuracy and spelling. Authors should explicitly indicate the relevant conference track or topic area. Each submission must clearly define the nature of its technical contribution and identify the specific problem domain(s) it addresses.
Only original and unpublished work is eligible for submission. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference.
- Paper Categories & Review Process:
- Accepted Full Papers: 12 - 15+ pages including original, unpublished research papers presenting significant scientific contributions, novel methodologies, comprehensive experimental evaluation, and well-validated results relevant to the conference themes.
- Accepted Short Papers: 6-11 pages including original research papers reporting emerging ideas, work-in-progress, novel applications, preliminary findings, or practical implementations with sound technical merit and clear potential for future research.
- Review Process: All submissions will undergo a rigorous "double-blind peer review process" to ensure quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes. Three (3) independent reviewers will be assigned to every submission. Papers receiving conflicting recommendations may be assigned to an additional reviewer or referred to the Conference Chair for further evaluation.
Paper Format
Authors are requested to prepare and submit their manuscripts in accordance with the Springer Nature Computer Science Proceedings Author Guidelines. All submissions must use the official Springer LNCS Microsoft Word or LaTeX templates to ensure consistency with the publication format and technical requirements. Springer provides official templates and detailed instructions for authors preparing proceedings papers.

Camera-Ready Submission
Authors of accepted papers must prepare their camera-ready manuscripts in accordance with the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) formatting guidelines.
The camera-ready version must incorporate all revisions suggested by the reviewers and comply with Springer's formatting, referencing, and publication requirements. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the final manuscript is free from typographical and formatting errors and is submitted together with all required publication materials by the specified deadline.
Failure to comply with the Springer LNCS formatting guidelines or to submit the required files within the prescribed timeline may result in the paper being excluded from the conference proceedings.
- Note: Proceedings are planned for publication in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, subject to Springer approval.
Originality and Plagiarism
All papers submitted to SACET 2027 – International Conference on Sustainable Artificial Intelligence, Computing and Emerging Technologies must present original, unpublished research and must not be under consideration for publication in any other conference or journal at the time of submission.
The conference is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using iThenticate (provided by Springer Nature, subject to availability) or an equivalent similarity-checking tool before entering the peer-review process.
The similarity report will be carefully evaluated by the Technical Program Committee. Manuscripts exhibiting significant plagiarism, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, or other forms of academic misconduct, in accordance with Springer Nature's Publishing Ethics Guidelines, will be rejected. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly acknowledged and cited.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools and Large Language Models (LLMs)
SACET 2027 follows Springer Nature's policies on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) in scholarly publishing.
Authors who use AI-assisted technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or similar tools) during the preparation of their manuscripts must:
- Disclose the use of AI tools in the Acknowledgements, Methods, or another appropriate section of the manuscript, describing how the tools were used.
- Ensure that AI tools are not listed as authors or co-authors, as they cannot assume responsibility for the work.
- Accept full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific validity of all content, including text, figures, tables, code, and other materials generated or assisted by AI tools.
- Verify that all AI-assisted content complies with ethical standards, copyright requirements, and the conference's originality and plagiarism policies.
Note
The use of AI tools to improve language, grammar, readability, or formatting is permitted, provided that such use is transparently disclosed where appropriate. However, authors remain solely accountable for the final content of their submissions.
Ethical Standards
SACET 2027 is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity, publication ethics, and professional conduct. Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions comply with internationally accepted ethical principles and Springer Nature's publishing policies.
- Authors must:
- Submit original, unpublished research that is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Properly acknowledge and cite all relevant prior work and sources.
- Include as authors only those individuals who have made a significant scholarly contribution to the research.
- Obtain all necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted materials, including figures, tables, images, datasets, and other third-party content.
- Ensure that research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data has been conducted in accordance with applicable ethical guidelines and has received the necessary institutional or regulatory approvals, where required.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest and sources of financial or institutional support relevant to the submitted work.
- Comply with Springer Nature's Code of Conduct, Research Integrity, and Publishing Ethics policies.
Note
Any violation of ethical standards, including plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, or undisclosed conflicts of interest, may result in rejection of the manuscript or other appropriate action by the Conference Organizing Committee.
Copyright and License to Publish
Upon acceptance of a paper, the corresponding author will be required to complete the Springer Nature License to Publish (LtP) form as part of the publication process. Submission of the completed license form is mandatory for the inclusion of the paper in the conference proceedings.
- Corresponding Author: One author must be designated as the corresponding author and will complete the License to Publish form on behalf of all co-authors.
- License Submission: Detailed instructions for completing and submitting the License to Publish form will be communicated to the corresponding author after paper acceptance.
- Camera-Ready Submission: Authors must submit the final (camera-ready) manuscript, source files, PDF version, and all required publication materials by the prescribed deadline.
- Publication Rights: Authors are responsible for ensuring that all copyrighted materials (including figures, tables, images, datasets, and third-party content) included in their manuscripts have the necessary permissions for publication.
- Open Access: Authors requiring Open Access publication should contact the Conference Organizing Committee after acceptance. Open Access publication is subject to Springer Nature's policies, availability, and any applicable publication charges.

Note: The official Springer Nature License to Publish (LtP) form and detailed submission instructions will be provided to the corresponding author together with the paper acceptance notification.
Review Policy
SACET 2027 is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality, research integrity, and publication ethics. The conference accepts only original, unpublished research that is not under review or accepted for publication in any other conference, journal, or workshop at the time of submission. Authors must not submit the same manuscript to another publication venue during the review process.
All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial screening for scope, formatting compliance, originality, and plagiarism before entering the peer-review process.
Each eligible submission will be evaluated through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by a minimum of three independent expert reviewers. Reviewers will assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:
- Originality and novelty of the research
- Technical quality and scientific merit
- Methodological soundness
- Significance of the contribution
- Relevance to the conference themes
- Clarity of presentation and organization
- Quality of experimental validation or practical application (where applicable)
Note
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Program Committee will make the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors of accepted papers must address all reviewer comments before submitting the camera-ready version. SACET 2027 follows Springer Nature's publication ethics and research integrity guidelines. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified results, inappropriate authorship, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected.
